This is a terracotta medallion featuring a scene of a victorious charioteer in his quadriga or four-horse chariot. The man holds a laurel wreath and palm branch in air as a sign of his victory. We see another charioteer in the distance behind him, and an inscription on the left may identify the victorious man.
